Almost every mile presents itself with another scenic wonder, when you are on the open road on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, in Iceland. This visit was in October, which is a great time to tour Iceland, because the tourist crowds have thinned out, and the prices for lodging and flights have come down a bit.
