Artist's Description
This ship was sailing parallel to our cruise ship, as we were heading out of Stockholm and sailing overnight to Germany. The Stockholm Archipelago is made up of hundreds and hundred of islands, and the combination, of the green islands and the blues of the water and sky, is stunning. It was a sunset cruise so the light was warm and perfect. Of course, being so far north, sunset lasts probably 3 hours and it doesn't get totally dark until around 11:00pm so there is plenty of opportunity to take advantage of the perfect light.
